ABOUT ME
Committed To Your Career
I’m Dr Marianne Trent, a HCPC-registered and BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologist, author, and host of the Psychology, Actually podcast.
I support aspiring psychologists in the UK to gain experience, secure Assistant Psychologist roles, and strengthen applications for clinical training, including DClinPsy interviews while also supporting qualified psychologists with career development.
Since 2020, I’ve helped hundreds build confidence, clarity, and direction in their psychology careers with practical guidance that actually works.

I'm finding everything so so useful. Being at uni, especially on a conversion course, everything is so focused on the academic side and fulfilling the BPS curriculum. The membership is giving me really valuable insights into the practices of a psychologist and a framework for thinking about them ahead of searching for relevant jobs and working towards the doctorate."
